We are currently recruiting a technical maintenance specialist to oversee the maintenance of customer fleet. This role involves providing technical support to continually improve the reliability of locomotives, including fault-finding, troubleshooting and general maintenance.
This will be a site-based role due to the nature of work required. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Corrective Maintenance, Root Cause analysis and experience with fault-diagnostic tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily review of locomotive fleet performance, acting as the primary interface to the customer on-site.
* Interface with the customer as well as design/product engineering teams for maintenance and technical support.
* Maintenance technical inspection against assessed scope, fault finding and troubleshooting.
* Manage failure investigations and customer feedback of findings.
* Develop, review and improve technical maintenance plans and other supporting documentation.
* Perform RCA of defects following release to service.
* Raise equipment non-conformance reports and provide assessments.
* Review Condition Monitoring data for faults/conditions requiring intervention.
