The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and driven Channel Sales Manager to lead our client's channel strategy in Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with distributors, installers, and other channel partners, with a strong focus on driving sales performance and growing market share in the residential segment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a channel sales strategy tailored to the Australian market.
* Manage and expand relationships with key distributors, retailers, and strategic partners.
* Drive revenue growth through structured partner engagement, training, and enablement.
* Lead quarterly business reviews, pipeline forecasting, and go-to-market planning with partners.
* Represent the company in product presentations, roadshows, webinars, and industry events.
* Provide commercial and technical support in collaboration with the pre-sales and service teams.
* Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market intelligence to inform strategy.
* Ensure channel compliance with brand, pricing, and contractual frameworks.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution management, or business development within the renewable energy, electrical, or battery storage sector.
* Familiarity with Clean Energy Council (CEC) guidelines
* Proven ability to manage complex relationships and deliver on growth targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to travel interstate and occasionally internationally.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and a data-driven sales approach.
* Ability to speak Mandarin is a huge plus.
