Introduction Learning Online Group is one of the leading online course providers across Australia, New Zealand and Canada, with multiple education brands across these countries. We deliver practical, industry led courses to thousands of students, helping them turn an interest into a real skill or a brand new career. Our animals, wildlife and agriculture catalogue is growing fast, covering everything from animal care and wildlife to horticulture, livestock and general farming. As this side of the business keeps expanding, we're now growing our student support team! So if you've worked hands on with animals, wildlife, plants or on the land, and you love the idea of helping beginners learn the ropes, we'd love to hear from you. Duties & Responsibilities Every day, students across Australia, New Zealand and Canada are working through our animal, wildlife and agriculture courses. Your job is to guide them through their learning journey, give them clear feedback, and keep them motivated and on track. This is a fully remote tutoring and mentoring role. The people who do well here are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping someone go from "no idea" to confident. You're part teacher, part coach, part cheerleader. You'll be: Marking student assignments and giving clear, encouraging feedback (written, plus video and photo submissions) Running student support calls over phone and video Answering student questions by email with friendly, practical guidance Completing welcome and onboarding calls for new students Providing both course specific and general learning support Supporting students across different countries and time zones Desired Experience & Qualification Some of our best tutors have backgrounds such as: Animal care, pet grooming or veterinary support Wildlife rehabilitation or nature conservation Livestock, beef or general farming Nursery work, gardening or horticulture Anyone with solid hands on experience across animals, plants or agriculture What matters most is: Relevant training or qualifications in animal care, wildlife, agriculture, horticulture or a related field At least 2 years hands on experience in one of those areas Strong written communication, with the ability to give clear, supportive feedback Confident verbal communication, comfortable explaining concepts and next steps Good basic computer literacy: email, online platforms, and reviewing video and photo submissions A genuine love of teaching, coaching and seeing people improve A warm, professional, student focused attitude Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess practical work fairly and consistently The discipline to work independently, manage your time, and hit turnaround expectations Teaching or tutoring experience is a bonus, as is anything with an LMS or CRM style platform, but we can show you our systems. What's harder to teach is real world knowledge and the patience to help a beginner succeed. Package & Remuneration 23,000 ZAR per month base salary performance based bonuses (approx 1-2000 ZAR monthly).
