About the opportunity:
We seek two systematic and efficient plant operators to become an integral part of our Ethanol division, providing support through various shift schedules to ensure uninterrupted operations at our food production facility.
These positions are full time, shift relief positions working a rotating roster across days, nights and weekends.
About the role:
Reporting to the Ethanol Superintendent, you will be responsible for:
* Opportunity to learn highly technical processes
* Operation of plant and equipment associated with ethanol operations from Fermentation to Distillation, control room SCADA and external Field requirements
* Following highly technical processes to ensure ethanol production requirements are met
* Obtaining and testing samples during production
* Recording tests in accordance with documented procedures
* Acting as a shift and/or shift relief operator to provide shift coverage, once trained
About you:
To be our new operator, you will need:
* Safety first attitude.
* Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
* Ability to adapt to change and new requirements quickly and effectively.
* Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience within a production environment.
* Experience with SAP highly advantageous.
* Experience with SCADA, Omega, Honeywell and Accuload advantageous.
* Experience within the Dangerous Good's space and or Petro-chemical Industry
* Experience with Fermentation and Distillation advantageous
