Position Summary
Latrobe Valley Aero Club is seeking a suitably qualified Grade 1 / Grade 2 Flight Instructor for immediate start.
This is a permanent full-time position of 38 hours per week with alternating weeks being Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday, or as mutually agreed with the Club.
Training Scope
Latrobe Valley Aero Club provides flight training for Recreational Pilot Certificate, Recreational Pilot Licence, Private Pilot Licence, and Commercial Pilot Licence. Applicants with Multi Engine / IFR Endorsement ratings are also encouraged to apply.
Fleet Information
Latrobe Valley Aero Clubs fleet consists of an RA Aus Registered Tecnam P92 Eaglet, and for all GA Flight Training we have a Cessna 152 and three Cessna 172s. We will also be operating our flight simulator in the near future.
Responsibilities
* Instruct students on flight training
* Offer outstanding customer service to visitors and Club Members
* Monitor aircraft movements
* Schedule aircraft maintenance
* Liaise with maintenance regarding aircraft issues
* Improve and develop appropriate training and promotional materials in line with the Club's requirements
* Engage in additional club duties as necessary

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
