You will be a part of our multi-disciplinary team working across various building projects and service projects including those of relatively large size, of high complexity and with multiple clients.The role will enable the successful candidate to develop professionally and personally, forging a challenging and rewarding career path in a successful consultancy.Day-to-day tasks would involve:Sharing your time between project involvement and management responsibilities.Representing Stantec externally to clients, playing a senior and active role in managing these relationships.Supporting and guiding Engineers and Graduate Engineers to enable their success at all levels.Prioritising workloads whilst ensuring client needs are met, maintaining strong working relationships locally and across the international Stantec team.Demonstrating high technical knowledge, providing oversight and supervision to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.Identifying opportunities for innovation within the mechanical engineering teams.Developing strategic business opportunities to shape Stantec’s defence sector in the region.Identifying clients and pursuits aligned with strategic objectives to grow market share and enhance the reputation for delivery excellence.To be successful in this role, you'll need:A Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.Experience working in consulting or engineering, with a good understanding of the Adelaide buildings market.Well-connected and able to foster client relationships.Significant HVAC design experience on building projects.Ideally, experience in the Defence sector.Ability to make quality business decisions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.About StantecStantec employs approximately 31,000 people across over 450 locations worldwide.
