Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts functions and supporting general administration as required.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day duties include:
* Matching and entering supplier invoices
* Raising, sending, and dispatching customer invoices
* Dispatching completed orders from Syspro
* Entering bank and petty cash payments into Syspro
* Creating payments in HSBC
* Answering phones when required
Monthly and regular tasks:
* Reconciling petty cash and bank accounts in Syspro
* Reconciling general ledger codes for back invoicing
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Reconciling staff credit cards and processing reimbursements
* Reviewing unmatched supplier invoices and investigating missing GRNs or delivery dockets
When time permits:
* Investigating and clearing old GRNs
* Filing paid and unpaid invoices
Additional responsibilities as required:
* Booking travel and accommodation
* Entering timesheets
* Ordering office supplies, including Coles and first aid supplies
* Following up customers for payment of invoices
* Setting up suppliers and customers in Syspro
About You
* Previous experience in accounts payable/receivable preferred
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Experience with Syspro (highly regarded)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
