Senior Project Engineer - Major Marine Infrastructure Project (Fixed Term Contract)
Salary: $170k-$2000k

An opportunity to join a Tier 2 contractor delivering a high-profile $100m+ marine infrastructure project in Victoria. This Senior Project Engineer role will play a critical part in the technical, commercial, and delivery leadership of complex marine and heavy civil works, including piling, structural steel, heavy concrete, and associated civil packages.
You will work closely with the Construction Manager and Project Manager, taking ownership of key work packages and supporting successful project delivery from an engineering and commercial perspective.
The Role
Lead engineering delivery across allocated marine and civil work packages
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure program and quality outcomes
Oversee RFIs, ITPs, QA documentation, and design coordination
Drive short-term planning, sequencing, and look-ahead programs
Monitor progress, costs, variations, and forecasting
Ensure works are delivered in accordance with WHS, environmental, and contractual requirements
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
Interface with client representatives and senior stakeholders
About You
Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer on large-scale civil or marine projects
Strong background with Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractors
Experience across piling, marine works, structural steel, concrete, or heavy civil scopes
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract administration
Ability to lead engineering teams and manage multiple work fronts
