Job Description
o Process pays and ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
o Liaise with the HR department to ensure all payroll data is up-to-date and accurate.
o Prepare and submit reports on payroll activities to management.
o Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
o Handle all payroll-related queries from staff members.
o Maintain updated records of payroll procedures and any changes in rates or legislation.
o Assist with the annual audit process by providing relevant payroll information.
o Perform additional tasks as required by the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
o Proficiency in payroll software and other financial management systems.
o Strong numerical skills and an eye for detail.
o Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
o A good understanding of payroll legislation and regulations.
o The ability to work well in a team and independently.
