Retail Travel Sales Consultant Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Retail Travel Sales Consultant to work in Geelong.
* Promote holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and travel experiences.
* Build customer relationships face-to-face and online, managing new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments, and cancellations.
* Process domestic and international travel bookings and payments between travellers and suppliers using Amadeus GDS.
* Convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings, cross-selling and up-selling of travel products.
* Manage travel credits, refunds, and changes.
* Achieve sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through regular sales meetings.
* Attend industry events, such as supplier and product exhibitions, ship inspections, and travel expos.

Requirements:
* Certificate 3 in Travel or higher preferred.
* GDS experience in Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
* Passion for the travel industry and personal travel experience.
* Excellent organisational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent personal presentation.
Working Conditions:
The successful applicant will be required to attend induction training at our Melbourne head office and store for two to three weeks, Monday to Friday.
