We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Tanker Truck, safely transporting materials to customer sites throughout the Sydney Metro and Southern regions. The role requires flexibility to work Monday to Saturday and prioritizing workload while maintaining high safety standards.
The day-to-day tasks will involve:
1. Safe and efficient cartage of materials
2. Conducting daily checks on the vehicle and reporting maintenance as required
3. Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of materials
4. Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences
This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering overtime and competitive hourly rate + overtime.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A current HC Licence
2. Proven experience driving a Heavy Combination (HC) vehicle
3. Bulk powder tanker experience is preferred but not essential
4. OH&S induction for construction industry (white Card) is desirable
5. Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulations
