This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Operations Manager in the production of concrete. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our plant, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or production, with experience in managing teams and coordinating logistics. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
The role involves a mix of manual handling, logistics coordination, staff management and administration. The ideal candidate will be able to physically perform all duties associated with the position, including working at heights and operating machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of the plant, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
* Manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Coordinate logistics, including scheduling and allocating loads to drivers.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
* Monitor and control stock levels, including receiving and dispatching goods.
* Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as necessary.
