* Band 7 (Library Admin), $103,987.52 - $115,565.32 per annum plus superannuation
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive the development, delivery and continuous improvement of contemporary library collections, digital platforms and ICT infrastructure. You will oversee the development and performance of physical and digital collections, library systems and customer-facing technologies, while identifying emerging trends and opportunities to enhance service delivery. Working collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners, you will drive innovation through initiatives, business improvements and shared service arrangements.
As a senior leader, you will foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture, providing leadership, coaching and support to build a skilled and future‐ready workforce. You will oversee key service areas including collection management, supplier relationships, resource sharing and the Library Management System, ensuring reliable, efficient and user‐focused outcomes. With accountability for financial management, governance and compliance, you will manage budgets, monitor performance and support long‐term sustainability through effective planning and risk management. Selection Criteria
* Qualifications and experience as listed in the position description.
* Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote corporate values.
* Ability to lead, motivate and develop team members and communicate in a collaborative and cooperative manner.
* Experience at middle management level contributing to the overall service provision of the library service and ability to participate as part of an executive team in a corporate environment.
* Experience in budget management, procurement, contract administration and vendor relationship management in a timely manner.
* Well‐developed project management, analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to deliver service improvements and manage competing priorities.
* Commitment to continuous improvement, fostering new ideas and ability to recommend changes to library services, practices and procedures.
