THE ROLE:
Day-to-day you are encouraging the team to create memorable moments for our guests, with guest experience and satisfaction always being at the forefront of what we do. There are operational responsibilities you'll need to be across, as well as in-house processes and reporting. Most of all, you will be a leader of the business and know how to inspire the team, while getting the best out of everyone around you.
As the Assistant Venue Manager your key focuses will include:
* Leading a team to ensure that they are always delivering and creating memorable and exceptional experiences to our guests.
* Fostering an inclusive, vibrant, nurturing, and fun culture for our team to ensure staff retention and growth.
* Day-to-day management of the venue ensuring that the Scarborough is always immaculate and with a warm, fun, and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
* Recruitment, and staff development of the team.
* Assisting the Venue Manager to ensure that appropriate systems are in place to effectively and efficiently manage and operate the venue.
* Assist with managing financial controls and reporting and executing growth strategies to increase revenue.
ABOUT YOU:
A leader and industry professional with ambitions to develop and learn in a highly supportive environment, while highlighting your personal talent.
You are an experienced hospitality manager, working within a high-volume food environment and managing the pressures of demanding service periods.
And most importantly, you are outgoing, friendly, a team player and keen to learn.
RSA and Food basic handers certification are required.
