About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading administration teams across multiple Tasmanian sites in Brighton, Launceston, Burnie and Devonport. You will bring consistency, structure and accountability to administrative functions, ensuring they effectively support frontline logistics operations.
Working closely with Operations and Finance, you will improve processes, lift capability and ensure administration enables — rather than slows — the business.
The role can be based at any Strait Link Tasmanian site.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and manage administration teams across multiple Tasmanian locations
* Drive consistent administrative processes in a complex, multi-site environment
* Partner with Operations leaders to align administrative activity with site priorities
* Work closely with Finance to support accurate, timely and compliant reporting
* Identify process gaps, inefficiencies and risks, and implement practical improvements
* Build capability, accountability and confidence within administration teams
* Act as the central coordination point for key administrative deliverables across Tasmania
Skills And Experiences
About You
You are an experienced administration or business support leader who is comfortable operating in fast-paced, operational environments.
You will bring:
* Proven experience leading administration or business support teams (typically 5+ years)
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with Operations and Finance
* A practical, solutions-focused approach to process improvement
* The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites
* Strong organisational, communication and decision-making skills
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills and solid financial administration experience
Experience in logistics, transport or industrial environments is advantageous, but not essential.
