Raytheon Australia is seeking a Procurement Officer to support the Minor Vessel Capability Lifecycle Manager (MV CLCM) program, delivering engineering services to support the Navy’s Surface Fleet. The Role
The Procurement Officer reports to the Inventory Procurement Lead and is responsible for managing procurement requirements across the vessel lifecycle to ensure ship availability for the Navy.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply procurement practices within a Defence supply chain environment.
* Manage procurement processes from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely, scope-compliant, and quality supply.
* Maintain data integrity in inventory management systems and logistics databases.
* Collaborate with the SPO Inventory Team to procure and repair inventory efficiently, maintaining stock levels.
* Support audit and quality assurance processes to ensure policy compliance.
* Contribute to performance management and reporting.
* Ensure export control compliance across all Material Support functions.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
* Commercial acumen in sourcing, quotations, orders, and supplier engagement.
* Minimum 3 years’ procurement experience, preferably within a Defence environment.
* Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, EAGLE, MILIS), Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
