Seed Heritage is seeking an experienced Merchandise Planner to drive the financial performance of our Home and Menswear departments across all regions. This role is pivotal in maximising sales, profit and stock efficiency through strategic planning, in-season trading and insightful analysis.

*THE ROLE:*
* Own and manage seasonal merchandise plans by region, driving sales, GP and stock turn
* Develop detailed class plans including sales, stock, OTB, markdowns and margin
* Deliver in-season trading analysis and re-plans to optimise performance
* Manage OTB at class, category and option levels
* Conduct monthly forecast reviews and weekly unit flow analysis
* Develop option plans and buy quantities aligned to strategy and OTB
* Attend monthly buys, providing clear direction on quantification and options
* Manage ratio analysis and adjust order quantities based on performance and store profiles
* Build and maintain store grading and allocation grids by department
* Deliver post-seasonal analysis by class, category, style, colour and size
* Present weekly performance and strategy recommendations at trading meetings
* Partner with General Managers and State Managers on store needs and stock opportunities
* On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
*THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*
* 3–5 years' experience in merchandise planning or a related retail role, ideally within fashion
* Proven ability to manage financial performance, OTB and inventory optimisation
* Strong analytical capability with experience in post-seasonal analysis and performance reviews
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management or a related field
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with retail planning systems highly regarded
* Strong commercial and strategic thinking skills with high attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to present insights and influence stakeholders
* Leadership experience in coaching, mentoring and developing team members
* Adaptable and solutions-focused, thriving in a fast-paced retail environment
