About The Role
Applus+ are looking for a seasoned Planner/Scheduler to cover our team offshore and across two sites onshore Longford and Long Island Point. The role will be full-time Monday-Friday and based on 7.6 hour days. Applicants will need to be currently based locally in Sale.
Role Requirements
* Coordinate the planning of personnel for Operations and Project Managers from the Sale site office, including client liaison and third party suppliers
* Responsibility for the chairing of meetings and building relationships with key stakeholders in the business
* Review and agree all recorded work-hours to timesheets generated by all site Applus+ personnel, agree with client on a back-to-back basis, work-hours/consumables/equipment utilised in support of invoices generated thereof, reconcile support documentation with client P/O's on a weekly basis, submit invoice support documentation to Applus+ Sale office within 24 hours of securing client agreement.
* Advise Operations Manager - Sale VIC with personnel levels to ensure an adequate workforce is available
* Assist Operations Managers by advising on relevant procedures, techniques, equipment (where appropriate) and assist with issuing test procedures and standards appropriate for the work.
* Assist the manager with the monitoring of costs and cost effectiveness
* Assist with the timesheets for staff assigned to projects and local work ensuring accuracy of times, dates, job coding etc. which are provided to Payroll within the required deadlines
* Assist with the quoting of jobs to clients
* Assist with the invoicing process of jobs to the standard required by the Finance team
* Assist with the monitoring of the procurement of equipment and consumables via liaison with the Equipment Controller.
* In consultation with the relevant manager, ensure that personnel assigned to each project are adequately qualified and experience to perform their tasks
* Solve problems and attend to questions and complaints, both internally and externally
Specific Software
* Experience with ERP/CMMS systems in a planning/scheduling capacity - SAP/Prometheus preferable.
* Share point - Front and backend
* Experience developing Share point (desirable)
* Scheduling software - Primavera P6 (preferable)
