**THE TEAM**:
The Financial Services team are responsible for supporting our business and customer transactions by delivering effective financial and accounting controls, providing efficient shared services and leverage technology to simplify and standardise processes. The Financial Accounting Team is responsible for P&L reporting, balance sheet management and the period end close-off. They are also responsible for managing business reporting, the external audit and assisting with business projects/acquisitions.
**THE ROLE**:
Reporting directly to the Financial Accounting Manager, the Accounting Officer will support the day today activities of the Fixed Assets Team. In this role, the Accounting Officer will work in collaboration with other team members to assist in all reconciliation, general ledger and accounting activities relating to our Fixed Assets as well as help drive reporting and process improvements. This role is located in Northmead NSW.
**Key Responsibili**ti**es**:
- Ensure the accurate and timely recording of Fixed Assets in general ledger through generating, reviewing and posting of automated and manual journals, as well as assessing the impact on assigned Balance Sheet accounts for CCEP's Australian businesses.
- Execute the general month end accruals and accurately obtain accrual information from various CCEP Australian business teams in a timely manner.
- Support the facilitation of all internal and external audit processes and act as a key point of contact for auditors.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining financial support for asset and liability account balances for Finance across CCEP's Australian businesses.
- Generate process and reporting initiatives to ensure on-going improvement across Finance Operations.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Working towards University degree qualification
- Technically strong accounting knowledge
- Self-motivated & self-directed, with an ability to work autonomously and contribute to the team.
- Experience in SAP preferred
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel required
- Ability to interact with senior stakeholders, internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
