About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney. The successful candidate will have strong clinical expertise and a passion for delivering expert psychological assessment, diagnosis, case formulation, and evidence-based treatment for older adults experiencing complex mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and capacity assessments for individuals with neurocognitive disorders, mental illness, or neurological conditions.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to interpret neuropsychological findings and guide tailored treatment planning.
* Lead and support clinical research and training initiatives within Adult Mental Health driving innovation and best practice.
* Provide specialist consultation and liaison to stakeholders involved in the delivery of neuropsychological services for older adults.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require post-graduate qualifications in Clinical Neuropsychology, full AHPRA registration and specialist endorsement. You will also have experience conducting detailed neuropsychological and capacity assessments, as well as writing clear, practical reports that help shape treatment plans.
In addition, you will need to demonstrate a genuine commitment to supporting consumers by involving them actively in their treatment and recovery, working within a collaborative, recovery-focused approach.
