We are seeking a nurturing and dependable nanny to support a professional family based in Bilgola Plateau on Sydney's Northern Beaches. This ongoing role is perfect for someone who thrives during the evening hours and enjoys supporting young children with their routines in a loving, calm environment.
About the Family:
This family of four has made Australia home for the past six years. Both parents are busy marketing managers with national and international travel commitments. Their two young sons (3 years old and 8 months old) are affectionate, inquisitive, and enjoy quality time with their carers. The family loves spending weekends outdoors and soaking up moments of joy during their full weekdays. Also in the home is a friendly Australian Shepherd, Ziva.
Position Details:
* Commencement: ASAP
* Days: Monday – Friday
* Hours: 5:00pm – 8:00pm (with flexibility to extend hours during travel periods)
* Extra: Monthly extended Friday shift (for a parent date night)
* Location: Bilgola Plateau, Northern Beaches
Key Responsibilities:
* Pick up from kindy
* Unpacking kindy/daycare bags
* Evening meal preparation for the children
* Assisting with and supervising mealtimes
* Kitchen tidying after dinner
* Bathing and supervising both children's evening routines
* Facilitating calm, age appropriate wind down activities
* Supporting the bedtime routine
* Flexibility to provide additional support when parents travel for work. Parents will communicate well in advance if this is required
Ideal Candidate:
* Confident and experienced caring for infants and toddlers
* Calm, warm, and engaging with a child led approach
* Highly reliable and comfortable working independently
* Able to commit to the outlined schedule with flexibility as required
* Dog friendly and happy to work in a home with a gentle family pet
