The Role
As a Team Leader Grader Operator, you'll lead a small crew in delivering high‐quality road maintenance and gravel re‐sheeting projects across the region.
* Operate graders confidently and safely across varying terrain.
* Manage and deliver gravel re‐sheeting and road maintenance projects.
* Carry out minor equipment maintenance.
* Liaise with quarry staff and implement safe traffic controls.
* Maintain accurate documentation and project records.
* Foster a safe and positive team environment that reflects Council's values.
You'll bring extensive grader operating experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to safe, efficient, high‐quality work. Clear communication and a customer‐focused approach will help you work effectively with internal teams, contractors, and community members.
