Responsibilities
* Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Centre knowledge
* HawkEye Monitoring tool knowledge
* Develop and maintain system documentation related to the database configuration
* Perform Patch & release management
* Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity
* React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools -- escalating to management where appropriate
* Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system
* Knowledge of following Operating System environments: Redhat/Oracle Linux; IBM AIX; Windows Servers
Interpersonal Skills
* The position requires: Proven ability to deliver results as required within specific time frames.
* Ability to work within a team in a cross cultural environment.
* Ability to work after hours.
Qualifications and Experience
* The position requires: 5 - 7 years of experience as Database Admin on Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL.
