Followmont Transport is seeking a dedicated and motivated Store Person to join our team at our busy 3PL Warehouse in Eagle Farm. This is a full-time permanent role where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. This opportunity would suit someone who is self‐motivated, reliable, and has a positive, can‐do attitude. You'll need to be well‐organized while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in your work. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
What you'll be doing
* Crossdocking and container decanting (both manual and forklift operations)
* Picking and packing orders to meet customer requirements
* Forklift operations (high reach and counterbalance)
* Loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely
* Maintaining accurate records of all stock movement in and out of the warehouse
* Conducting stock takes and cycle counts
* General warehouse cleaning and maintenance
* Reporting any damaged goods or spillages promptly
* Carrying out safety audits to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for
* Valid Forklift Licence (LF) with a minimum of 12 months of experience (essential)
* Basic computer literacy
* Ability to work as an all-rounder in various warehouse tasks
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
* Own transport is essential
* Previous experience in a similar warehouse role (3PL experience highly regarded)
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (highly regarded)
