Connect Baptist Church Ballarat is seeking a suitably qualified and equipped individual to journey with us in ministry in the role of Church Life Pastor supporting our Lead Pastor and church ministry coordinators.
This role will be responsible for supporting and growing the ministries of the church community, with a focus on the next generations.

* A sense of God's calling to this ministry
* Sound knowledge of governance and church management principles as they relate to the BUV
* Ability to develop and grow others (Leadership Team and the church Community)
* Team orientated, with the ability to work within a ministry team
* Values the opinions of others
* A pastoral heart who cares for the hurting
* An ability to embrace a diversity of cultures
* One who relates warmly to those within the church and to those yet to find Christ
* Is passionate about growing disciples, with a strong call towards the younger generations of the church community
Position Details
* A 4 day per week role (0.8FTE), to be negotiated with the successful candidate, with stipend, tax exempt benefits & superannuation in line with BUV guidelines.
* Annual leave & personal leave as per BUV guidelines
* All church related expenses will be reimbursed in line with budget guidelines
* Professional development is encouraged & allocated in budgets
* Planning, development & appraisal will occur annually
* Church Life Pastor is accountable to the Lead Pastor.
