Cleaner Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable professional to join our school community as a Cleaner. This role plays a crucial part in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and families.
Responsibilities include:
* Cleaning windows, doors, glass, pictures, fittings, sinks, taps, and drinking fountains.
* Cleaning and sanitizing toilet facilities and sick bays.
* Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming classrooms, offices, and shared spaces.
* Dusting furniture, equipment, and fans.
* Cobweb and mildew removal (including use of extendable equipment).
* Cleaning concrete, bitumen, and paved areas.
* Graffiti removal where required.
* Vinyl/timber floor care (buffing, stripping, and polishing).
* Hosing designated areas.
* Safe disposal of rubbish, litter control, and clearing drains and gutters.
This Cleaner will work collaboratively with school staff to maintain a positive and safe environment, reporting directly to the Principal or their nominated delegate.
