The team advises across a diverse client base and operates at the forefront of complex IP disputes, regulatory matters, and commercial transactions.
The Role
As a Senior Associate / Associate you will work closely with Partners and senior practitioners across multiple offices with exposure to sophisticated IP matters spanning disputes, regulatory issues, and commercial transactions, with opportunities to build both technical depth and leadership capability.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on a broad range of contentious and non‐contentious intellectual property matters, including trade marks and brand protection, IP licensing and transactional work, as well as patents, designs, Consumer Law, copyright and anti‐counterfeiting matters, delivering commercially focused and strategically aligned outcomes for clients.
* Support clients in acquiring, managing, protecting, commercialising, enforcing and defending intellectual property rights.
* Work collaboratively with integrated teams across the full IP asset lifecycle, including registration, oppositions, portfolio management, acquisitions, litigation and enforcement.
* Supervise, delegate to and mentor junior lawyers while maintaining high service standards across multiple matters.
What You'll Bring
* A minimum of 4 PQE experience in a leading private practice intellectual property team, with in‐house and/or overseas experience viewed favourably.
* UK qualified lawyers are welome to apply.
* Exposure to a broad mix of IP work, including contentious matters and complex commercial transactions.
* Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong drafting capability.
* A genuine desire to learn, develop technical expertise, build relationships, and mentor others.
