We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Child and Family Support Worker.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to work with vulnerable children and young people, promoting positive attitudes and lifestyle choices, and improving confidence, self-esteem, social and living skills.
As a Child and Family Support Worker, you will be part of a team that addresses previous trauma, abuse, and/or neglect, and works within a therapeutic framework to provide support and accommodation to at-risk youth.

Key Responsibilities
* Work with children and young people with high and complex needs
* Be prepared to work shift work, including evenings and weekends
Requirements
* Current Australian Drivers Licence
* Satisfactory clearance of a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
* Satisfactory clearance of a National Criminal History Check (within the last 3 months)
* Certificate IV (or above) in Youth Work or Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar
* Current Provide First Aid Certificate
* Current Safe Environments for Children and Young People (Through Their Eyes) Certificate
* Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Certificate
