Role Overview
Seeking an experienced systems engineer to join a specialist support and projects team. This role involves supporting Citrix environments, participating in on-call rosters, and collaborating on projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Citrix and NetScaler technologies, as well as experience with Windows Server and cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in virtual environment management and workload optimization is also essential.
This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of public cloud platforms, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
* Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration
* Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration
* User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow
* Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
* Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products
* Managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
* Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
* Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* At least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies
* Experience and background supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
