Due to additional payroll resources needed, this large, global and market leading organisation, with over a 100 year history, has a Temp Payroll Officer requirement for an initial 8 weeks. They need someone to hit the ground running so SAP payroll systems experience is an essential requirement.
Nuts & Bolts
* Maintain employee Masterfile by updating employee information for new hires, termination, transfer, and changes in employee pay details
* Coordinate the preparation, processing, and completion of the monthly and weekly payrolls, adhering to policy
* Ensure accurate documentation and processing of payroll-related information for employees, following procedures, and deadlines
* Process weekly off-cycle payments
* Process weekly PAYG payments
* Provide support and assistance to other members of the Payroll team, ensure accuracy of information entered into the system and efficient team functioning
Expectations
* Min 1 years' experience with SAP in Australian end-to-end payroll processing
* Familiarity with legislation and statutory requirements related to payroll processing
* Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level)
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work to strict timeframes and deadlines
* High level problem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve payroll and system issues
