7. We’re looking for a Kitchen Hand/Cook to support our kitchen operations with a focus on high-quality food preparation and presentation. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
8. 9. Hours
10. Our business is event driven, which requires flexibility in your availability to work both day and evening shifts. Although not every weekend has events, providing Weekend availability is also essential for this role.
11. 12. Your main duties will include:
13. • Assist with food prep, cooking, and presentation according to our standards.
14. • Keep work areas clean and organized, including dishwashing, cleaning, and equipment storage.
15. • Adhere to food safety and hygiene practices.
16. • Learn various cooking techniques under the guidance of our senior chefs.
17. • Help with inventory management and kitchen support tasks.
18. 19. Requirements:
20. • Certificate of Education or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
21. • Basic cooking knowledge
22. • A current QLD food safety certificate.
23. • Strong interest in a culinary career and eagerness to learn.
24. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
25. • Good communication skills and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
