**Community Ministry Worker** to help grow and enrich our local mission through meaningful engagement, discipleship pathways, and community-focused initiatives. **About the role** As a Community Ministry Worker, you will play a key role in connecting our Corps with the wider community. You'll help newcomers feel at home, support people on their faith journey, and create opportunities for evangelism, discipleship, and spiritual growth. You'll also lead programs such as the ALPHA course, coordinate volunteers, and contribute to the ongoing development of community ministries.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, has a heart for mission, and is excited to see lives transformed through the love of Jesus. This is a full-time permanent role based in Tweed Heads - South Gold Coast Corps. Salary is in accordance with Hay Level 12.Complete financial tasks such as invoicing, purchasing, banking, and receipting donations.Experience in community engagement within a religious or not‑for‑profit setting. Ability to offer pastoral care, prayer, and explain the Christian Gospel. Experience developing and delivering community-based programs. Experience managing volunteers or staff.
