Operational Resilience Lead – A Good Place to Be
Location: Head Office, Freehold House, 6-8 The Havens, Ransomes Europark
Salary: £35k - £50k per annum dependent on experience + Great Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (35 hrs). We will also consider part-time hours.

About the Role
As an Operational Resilience Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading the implementation and strengthening of the Society’s operational resilience framework and policies. This includes ensuring that a continually improving framework is in place to systematically identify, measure, mitigate, report, monitor and manage the most significant resilience risks. You will also support the daily processes and activities that alert management about new issues and risks evolution.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead the identification of important business services and help set impact tolerances.
• Coordinate scenario testing and the development of contingencies and recovery strategies.
•Work closely with risk, technology and all Society departments to strengthen resilience planning.
•Champion a culture of resilience across the Society through strong engagement with teams.
•Coordinate the management of the Society’s Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery.
What We’re Looking For
•A knowledge of financial services business processes and regulation (e.g. FCAPS 21/3, PRA SS1/21)
• Strong communication, negotiation and listening skills
•Attention to detail and ability to handle deadline-oriented work
•The ability to embrace new technologies and digital tools to enhance service delivery
•A positive, team-oriented mindset and ability to work well under pressure.
• A willingness to learn and take on responsibility
