Strategic Legal Leader
The National Disability Insurance Scheme seeks an experienced Associate Commissioner and Chief Legal Counsel for a senior leadership role involving strategic oversight, expert legal counsel, leading multidisciplinary teams and enhancing compliance with legal standards through communication skills proficiency in human rights law.
* This involves providing high-level guidance on all matters related to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission ensuring that our policies are aligned with regulatory requirements.
1. In this position you will have opportunities to:
1. Liaise closely with stakeholders including Government agencies national peak bodies disability sector representatives professionals service providers families consumers advocates lawyers and other relevant parties who contribute meaningfully toward achieving the NDIS’s objectives;
2. Demonstrate expertise in operational risk management governance policy frameworks legislation regulations case laws codes of practice;
