You'll lead piping design coordination across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality, safe and constructible design outcomes.Working closely with project engineers, discipline leads and clients, you'll help deliver integrated design solutions while coordinating work across both local teams and our Global Design Centres.**What you'll be doing**You will lead and coordinate piping design activities across complex projects, ensuring alignment across engineering disciplines and high-quality deliverables.Key responsibilities include:* Leading piping design coordination including **3D modelling, layout optimisation and constructability reviews*** Managing multidisciplinary design integration across **structural, mechanical, electrical, civil and instrumentation*** Overseeing production and review of **piping isometrics, general arrangements and fabrication deliverables*** Supporting **smart, data-driven engineering delivery** and digital design workflows* Providing **technical guidance and mentoring** to designers and modellers locally and globally* Facilitating **model reviews with project teams and clients*** Supporting **planning, resourcing and delivery** of piping design activities**What you'll bring**You're someone who thrives in complex engineering environments and enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.You will bring:* Strong experience in **piping design within oil & gas, CSG, petrochemical or heavy industry*** Expertise in **Autodesk Plant 3D and Aveva** for intelligent 3D model development* Experience coordinating **multidisciplinary design inputs within integrated 3D environments*** Strong capability in **P&ID interpretation, piping layouts and isometric production*** Understanding of **industry codes, Australian standards, ISO information standards and digital practices which includes development of digital pipe specifications*** Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills* Experience **mentoring or guiding designers and modellers*** Ability to manage **priorities and delivery across multiple projects****Why Aurecon**At Aurecon, no two career journeys are the same.
