Production Manager
Established on the Sunshine Coast for 25 years we are a manufacturer, supplier and installer of customised residential and commercial balustrading.
THE POSITION
The Factory/Production Manager will have a Engineering background and has previous experience leading a team. You will be responsible for factory and installation teams as well as lead and manage the overall manufacturing functions, product development strategies and manufacturing efficiencies. You will be required to be flexible as some Saturday's may be required.
ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will also need to meet the following:
* Have an absolute sense of urgency.
* A thorough understanding of the residential/commercial/industrial building industry including construction materials and methods.
* Solid experience within and knowledge of construction industry.
* Knowledge of laws, regulations and ordinances that regulate construction.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings/plans and specifications.
* Competence in Auto-Cad, Trello, Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate or advanced level.
* Factory and production co-ordination.
* Multi-tasking specific jobs and overall production/operation / site installations.
* Attention to detail.
* Quality mindset.
* Proven leadership and "hands" on approach.
* This position is not an office role, it requires extensive hands on approach.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Metalwork/engineering background
* Forklift licence and white card is essential.
* Must provide current references
REWARDS AND REMUNERATION
The position is a full time role. An attractive remuneration of $110,000 pa is on offer that will be aligned with the candidate's qualification, skills and experience.
