Penola Casa at Wavell Heights, a privately owned 85 place child care centre, requires a cook from 7:30 am - 1:00 pm (flexible) 5 days per week to prepare and cook morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea for young children aged 0-5 years.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a large open plan kitchen, managing their own day whilst surrounded by young children in play. The role involves preparing simple, easy, and nutritious meals and snacks from a seasonal menu.

* Work independently
* Maintain hygiene, food safety, and efficiency
* Love cooking and having children around (our kitchen is a hub for all)
Requirements:
* Hold or obtain a WWCC (Bluecard)
* Have knowledge and interest in food, food allergies, and nutrition
Staff childcare discounts are available, uniform is provided, and the centre offers Christmas closure and flexible daily hours. The position is part-time (2 days per week) until the New Year, then becomes 5 days per week.
