Forklift Operator Role
At our facility, we are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and supporting production by safely handling materials in a cold storage environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate forklifts (Counterbalance or Reach) to move, store, and deliver materials and consumables.
• Use RF scanning to maintain stock accuracy.
• Schedule and unload incoming goods.
• Control and issue orders for production.
• Maintain warehouse and storage areas, ensuring stock accuracy and compliance with OH&S standards.
About You:
• Valid forklift licence with hands-on experience operating Counterbalance or Reach forklifts.
• Ability to work in a cold storage environment and adapt to shift work.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel) and ideally experience with SAP software.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
