**Overview**
The Digital Service Platform Team Lead will be responsible for leading a development and operations team including developers, testers, release manager and system administration through planning, undertaking and the development, operations, and maintenance of the Salesforce-based ACT Digital platform.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead a team which works across Salesforce and MuleSoft, where the team duties include development, testing and managing the day-to-day operations of the platform. The role includes Jira tasking, triaging of emerging issues and supporting the release process.
- Lead the maintenance of the existing system and manage the sequence of development and release of multiple project streams across multiple environments.
- Develop, monitor, and manage the platform tasks and burndown charts, milestones and deliverables, in line with the overarching program plan.
- Contribute technical design elements to the end-to-end design of digital services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Oversight technical management of a Salesforce platform by working collaboratively with other tech leads and multiple system integrators, ensuring alignment to architecture and security principles.
- Define and document processes, build guides and best practice.
- Oversight and continuous improvement of DevOps process and capability.
- Manage the ACT Digital Service Platform eco-system including its backup/recovery and reporting SQL Server database, DevOps pipeline, automation scripts etc.
- Work collaboratively and participate in action learning approaches in a continuous improvement environment.
**Essential Requirements**
- Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in leading the operations of IT systems, deployment approaches and automation, and utilisation of existing CICD tools (such as Azure DevOps, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins and similar).
- Experience in citizen-facing service delivery in a government setting.
- Experience in software development on a SAAS platform (eg ServiceNow, Salesforce or Dynamics).
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Source control systems and Continuous Delivery tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, capture and resolve complex issues.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring technical developers.
- A current CMTEDD issued Personnel Vetting Program certificate/clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain such a certificate/clearance.
**Desirable Criteria**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications of related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or associated field and/or equivalent industry experience highly desirable.
