The Defence APS Asset Management Job Family requires a skilled professional to manage and coordinate the development of sustainment strategies and plans for submarine systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Sustainment Strategy Development: Manage and coordinate the development of sustainment strategies and plans for submarine systems, ensuring alignment with Defence requirements and expectations.
* Delivery and Support: Ensure delivery of required functional performance, supportability and obsolescence, reliability and maintenance requirements, working closely with stakeholders to achieve programme objectives.
* Troubleshooting and Technical Advice: Provide technical advice for defect root cause analyses and problem reports, identifying effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
* Programme Coordination: Act as Commonwealth point of contact for concessions, design reviews, minor projects and design reviews, facilitating collaboration and communication between teams.
About our Submarine Programme
The Collins Submarine Program within the National Shipbuilding Sustainment Group (NSSG) is responsible for the maintenance and programmed upgrade of Australia's Collins Class submarines. The Programme works in partnership with the Royal Australian Navy and Industry to deliver the strategic submarine capability to the nation.
