Job Title: Area Sales Manager-Western Australia
The primary focus of this role is to expand the sale of our products into the West Australian Mining market. To achieve this, you will be responsible for providing dealer support and account management, quotations, sales, marketing and technical support. Your main goal will be to ensure the company provides reliable information and product support while expanding our sales base.
This position entails extensive and regular travel about 80% of the month. It will be based in Perth, but the practical day-to-day base will be in your home location. You will manage Franklin Electric Dealers in the assigned region to maximize sales and service to each dealer customer. Additionally, you will identify and encourage new dealers to join the FE Dealer network.
Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies to grow business across the Goldfields, Pilbara, Midwest, and Southwest mining regions. You will also build strong relationships with end-users and distributors within mining, leverage with agriculture and domestic sales team as well as assist other sales regions in this market sector.
Other duties will involve identifying new business opportunities to expand our market share, representing a globally recognised brand with a strong reputation for reliability and innovation. You will establish and maintain good relations with key contacts within customer/dealer organisations.
Assist with new product launches and provide product/sales and marketing information to the FE Dealer network and the general pump/motor dealer network. Provide monthly sales forecast by region and customer base. Provide general support of office customer service, sales/technical, quotation support and administration.
Provide general technical and service advice in support of sales to the FE dealer base within the assigned region and in support of other ASM regions as needed. Maintain sales and service support for national groups operating in the assigned area.
Develop relationships with project/consulting engineers for the benefit of our products. Provide ideas and systems to management that will enable the Company to meet its objectives of Quality, Availability, Service, Innovation and Value, stimulate greater effort in meeting customer and market needs and expectations.
Required qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in business, business management, marketing, engineering technology, or a related field. Three to five years of relevant sales experience in engineering, pumps, rotational equipment, technical product sales, or a related field are required.
Additionally, you should possess skills in Word processing/typing and presentation/PowerPoint. A driver licence is a must. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
