About the opportunity

Based on site working a 2:2 site roster from Perth, this role supports the delivery of the Karratha Gas Plant Life Extension Project by providing project controls and quantity surveying support across the full project lifecycle. Working closely with both site-based and Perth stakeholders, you will help monitor progress, cost, and schedule performance while contributing to safe, efficient, and compliant project outcomes across the KGP refurbishment and life extension works.

Responsibilities

* Monitor and manage Site Instructions, daily Field Activity Plans, time writing, and progress tracking, escalating risks as required.
* Collaborate with Supervisors and Superintendents to quantify progress, maintain schedule and budget alignment, and deliver accurate reporting to site and Perth stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate project data across PPMS and SMS systems, supporting commissioning and overall project performance.
* Promote a strong safety culture, comply with Joint Venture HSE requirements, conduct audits, and support achievement of safety KPIs.
* Build effective relationships and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, adapting style to suit operational and corporate audiences.

About you

Success in this role comes from a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and effective project controls. You thrive in a dynamic, brownfield environment, monitoring progress, costs, and schedules across complex site-based projects. You work collaboratively with both site and corporate stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

* Electrical or Mechanical background (preferred).
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Controls.
* Background in oil and gas brownfield project management (preferred).
* QS qualification or equivalent education and experience.
* Prior FIFO role experience is preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
* Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail.
