Sherriff Electrical is an Australian Family-owned Electrical Wholesaler. Regarded as one of the leading independents, our people strive to provide the highest level of customer service possible. We are currently on the hunt for a Delivery Driver/Store Person for our branch in Townsville.
The ideal applicant for this role would be someone with a great work ethic, who can thrive and learn within an experienced team, while also sharing their own education and experience.
Duties of this role include; but are not limited to:-
* Local multi-drop deliveries.
* Manage the Loading & unloading of all incoming and outgoing goods of store.
* Picking & Packing of store orders.
* Quality assurance and accuracy of receipting and dispatching goods.
* Regular cyclical stock takes.
* Working with the sales team to achieve daily branch requirements.
To be successful for the role you must have:
* Current Australian drivers licence.
* Current Forklift licence is beneficial but not essential.
* Previous experience in a delivery driver role.
* Able to show initiative and work unsupervised.
* Able to use logic and think laterally to problem solve.
* Basic computer literacy required.
* High attention to detail.
* Excellent customer service.
