Permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2026.
Role
* Maintain and present school grounds, ensuring they are well kept.
* Provide gardening, ground and facility management to support a safe, vibrant, and clean school environment.
* Perform minor repairs and maintenance as requested.
* Adhere to safe work practices and Department policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience maintaining grounds and gardens, including turf management.
* Experience servicing horticultural/gardening equipment and performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Knowledge of gardening methods and procedures, including safe use and storage of equipment, materials and chemicals.
* Experience coordinating and supervising staff.
Eligibility
* Obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
* Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of appointment.
