Required Skills
- Extensive experience in wound care, including but not limited to:
- Hyperbaric chamber therapy
- Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), with a preference for Genadyne Wound Vacs
- Skin grafting procedures
- Proven ability to oversee and direct a multidisciplinary team, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Wound ostomy continence nurses (WOCN), and Physician Assistants (PAs) in the development and implementation of treatment plans.
Nice to Have Skills
- Familiarity with additional wound care technology and modalities.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions.
- Experience in a leadership capacity within clinical settings.
Preferred Education and Experience
- A degree in medicine with a specialization in wound care or a relevant field.
- Previous outpatient wound care experience is preferred.
Other Requirements
- Current licensure to practice as a physician in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
- Certification in wound care management is advantageous.
- Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the clinic.
