About the role
Join the dedicated team at Eureka Landscapes as a full-time Landscape Construction Team Member based in Caloundra, QLD. In this hands-on role, you will work under the direction of an experienced Foreman / Leading Hand to help deliver high-quality landscape construction projects.
What you'll be doing
* Following instructions from the Foreman / Leading Hand to complete assigned landscape construction tasks
* Reading and working from site plans and drawings
* Assisting with site preparation, set-out, and installation of hardscape and softscape elements
* Constructing retaining walls, pathways, garden beds, turf areas, and other landscaping features
* Operating tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently
* Carrying out planting, mulching, and other horticultural tasks as directed
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised worksite in line with WHS requirements
* Supporting other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in landscape construction or similar outdoor labouring work
* Ability to read and interpret basic site plans (training can be provided)
* Good understanding of safe work practices and use of tools/equipment
* Physically fit with the ability to work in various weather conditions
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
* A current driver’s licence (manual preferred)
* Construction White Card (required)
