About the role
Based remotely in Adelaide, this role covers South Australia and offers end-to-end ownership of a customer portfolio. You will build strong customer relationships, achieve sales targets, expand market share and elevate the customer experience.
More specifically, your key responsibilities in this role, will be:
* You will represent the \"Festo\" brand to our customers and, as an Automation Sales Engineer, you are their first point of contact
* Together with our specialist departments you will develop technical solutions in accordance with the needs of the customer and sell them successfully
* You will grow sales and independently conduct price negotiations with your customers, thereby steadily increasing the share of wallet for Festo
* You will drive the strategic development of your client portfolio and continuously expand market presence of Festo in your sales area
* In addition, you will support the market launch of new products and will be responsible for their introduction to your accounts
About You

You will need to possess:
* Qualifications in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 3 years Technical Sales / business development experience
* A proven track record of success in acquiring, managing, and developing business with existing and new customers
* Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
* Strong customer focus, with excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities
* Experience/exposure with electrical/pneumatic products will be highly regarded, as would technical knowledge and understanding of automation and drive technology
* Proficient in the use of MS Office, CRM, and sales platforms
