The Role
Gilmore College is seeking to appoint a dedicated, highly competent Digital Technologies teacher to deliver high‐quality teaching across a range of ability levels, inspire student passion and support short‐ and long‐term educational goals, including STEM pathways and industry‐knowledge based projects.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver Digital Technologies curriculum aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum for Technologies.
* Use evidence‐based instructional strategies, the College‐wide framework and design real‐world contextual learning experiences.
* Support the delivery of STEM projects, Design & Technology and other emerging industry pathways.
* Collaborate with colleagues to assess student learning, plan and implement formative assessment programmes.
* Participate in professional learning, coaching and keep current professional development.
Qualifications
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or work rights for WA.
* Current teacher registration and experience delivering Digital Technologies, STEM or Design & Technology.
* Strong knowledge of WA Curriculum for Technologies, ability to design and assess learning outcomes.
* Evidence of teaching skills, engaging learning, inspiration, student engagement.
* Commitment to ongoing professional growth, collaboration, and reflective practice.
