About the role
Join our team as an Underground Miner – Level 1 (Nipper). We’re looking for hands-on, safety-minded Underground Level 1 Miners who take pride in their work and care about their team. At Aurelia Metals, we listen and we’ve acted: we now offer fortnightly pay and a residential allowance to make life easier for our team.
You’ll join a supportive environment where development matters, with opportunities to refresh your skills and grow your career underground. Whether you’re driving trucks, supporting operators, or maintaining essential services, you’ll be part of a team that values safety, collaboration, and a positive attitude every day.
Roster: 7/7, 12-hour shifts (rotating days & nights)
Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW
Travel Options: Residential only

Key responsibilities
* Ensure mining teams have the supplies and equipment needed for efficient workflow
* Assist underground Operators and Service Crew as required
Keep work areas clean, tidy, and organised to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications and experience
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Previous underground experience highly regarded
Desired tickets: Security Clearance (UHL), Dangerous Goods Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space
