As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking an exceptional Practice Manager / Operations Manager to join our leadership team and help shape the future of our business.
We are seeking a leader who is excited by the opportunity to help build something exceptional. This role will suit someone who enjoys combining operational excellence with strategic thinking and is motivated by creating an outstanding experience for both patients and staff.
This is not a traditional practice management role.
About the Role
As Practice Manager / Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice while contributing to the strategic direction and ongoing development of the business.
Responsibilities
* Leading the daily operations of the practice
* Building, mentoring and supporting a high-performing administration team
* Creating and maintaining exceptional patient experiences
* Managing rostering, workforce planning and team performance
* Overseeing billing, accounts, financial reporting and key business metrics
* Developing and refining systems, workflows and operational processes
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the practice
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding and professional development
* Managing accreditation, compliance and quality improvement activities
* Building strong relationships with clinicians, allied health providers, hospitals and referrers
* Working alongside the Practice Director to support strategic planning, growth initiatives and business development opportunities
About You
You are a proactive, solutions-focused leader who takes pride in creating efficient systems, developing people and delivering exceptional service.
You are equally comfortable managing operational detail and contributing to the bigger picture.
You'll bring:
* Previous experience in practice management, healthcare operations or a senior healthcare leadership role
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Demonstrated financial management and reporting experience
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving capabilities
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
* A high level of initiative, accountability and professionalism
* The ability to remain calm and adaptable in a dynamic environment
* A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
Highly Regarded
* Experience within specialist medical practice management
* Knowledge of Medicare, private health billing and specialist practice operations
* Experience leading business growth, operational improvement or organisational change
* Experience working within women's health, specialist medical or allied health environments
